Brian worked for two different Fabrication companies in the Colorado Springs area during this time. Both companies specialized in highly pressurized systems for the oil and gas industry and plastic mold injection systems using the custom polymers. Brian produced over 3,000 specialized parts and over 500 tanks during this period. As a veteran welder fabricator Brian was asked to implement Lean practices to increase production, handle fabrication of complex parts, mentor junior staff, and construct welding robots.

This is where Brian cut his teeth learning the welding trade. He was consistently recognized as a top performer. He was quickly promoted to foreman and then line supervisor where he reduced injuries, increased productivity, and was selected to attend various symposiums representing the company.
